Shows whether an image pipeline keeps the alpha channel or flattens it to black or white.

What to check

After your application has processed sample-transparent-512x512.png, confirm that:

• The area around the disc stays transparent after resizing.
• The soft edge remains smooth, which shows the alpha channel was kept at 8 bits.
• Conversion to JPEG uses the background colour you intended, not black.
